Wonderla came up with a contest during Dasara for its customers – 10 moods, 10 selfies, 10 heads. They wanted people to participate and get free passes by taking 10 different selfies with different expressions; like Ravana. These selfies can then shared across Facebook, WhatsApp and other such platforms. The idea was to make it go viral.
We set up a ‘web app’ that takes 10 selfies, back to back with a countdown and all this with a sound of a click. It then arranges all the 10 photographs just like Ravana’s heads which can be saved and shared.
The job of putting up a not-so-complex website with complex development and operations is something we specialise in. The backhand work included server setup and intricate coding for development.
Design is another area we are plunging into. For this project, colours of the theme were yellow and red to bring out the festive feel of the website along with illustrations that typically represent the festival of Dasara.
