For example, augmented reality and virtual reality both can alter our perception of the world. Where they differ, is the perception of our presence.

Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, sums up the sentiments that technological innovators feel with regard to augmented reality —“I’m excited about Augmented Reality because unlike Virtual Reality which closes the world out, AR allows individuals to be present in the world but Hopefully allows an improvement on what’s happening presently… That has resonance.”

Artificial Intelligence, another fresh possibility that is slowly making its way to the mainstream market. “Some of the biggest tech companies, such as Google, Microsoft and Facebook, have been releasing their AI technology to the public.
